Old McDonalds

Today we have been on a little adventure. There were tall trees and soft sand. And a magnificent sunset.

And there was, of course, ice cream. Typically, for us that involves a drive through visit to "Old McDonalds" for "neminem" McFlurries. I don't know how long they will call.McDonalds "Old McDonalds" or when it got started, but it makes me smile. They love Old McDonalds and I'm pretty sure they don't buy our line that they don't serve ice cream during breakfast hour.

They daylight ended with the warm, soft glow of golden hour and the opportunity for more ice cream tomorrow. It is after the sun goes down, though, that things usually get really interesting around our house. It's like these sweet little babes suddenly turn into werewolves or some creature that does't sleep at night. (Really, I must start writing these in the morning.). I'm sure they'll be back to their charming little selves by the morning assuming we all finally get some sleep.

So sweet dreams, my little monsters. It's not every day that your playground looks like this.
