#100DAYRPROJECT Day 45
After decorating our tree the other day (late though I had ambitions to get it done earlier) I walked over to admire my work. Andy had helped me decorate, unwrapped tons of ornaments and kept saying "this is so fun!" It was very sweet. And the three looked beautiful in its quirky, eclectic way. I've been collecting ornaments for years as souvenirs. It's a fun way to remember the trips we've taken as we unwrap them.
When what to my wondering eyes did appear, but three clothes-line bats, amongst the felt covered deer. A happy little carry over from Halloween decorating the bottom of the tree. My first instinct was to promptly remove them. But then I had a little chuckle and let them be. Christmas bats. Of course. How did I forget to put these up? I thanked Andy for helping me decorate and mentioned the bats. He smiled slightly and said, "oh yeah I did that."
Me: "They look great."
Andy: "Thanks."
